Quetiest PC case fan?

I am looking for the quietest case fan for my computer. Can you tell me the make and model of the quietest one you have found but not too expensive?Quetiest PC case fan?

The size and speed at which it turns has more to do with noise. You'll find most any 120mm fan who's speed is controlled by the motherboard or accessory, will be quiet.





Also remember that there are other fans inside your computer that could be causing the noise (CPU, Graphics card, and PSU fans). A case that has good air flow and a quality cpu heat sink don't require as much air to be moved and thus are quieter. Cooler, more efficient cpu's like intel duo can also help.
Depends on the size of your original fan, try measuring it first because fans are measured in MM's.

As far as I know Akasa manufacturers the quietest case fans and comparatively cheap or affordable. My case came with a giant fan, I forget the size but I doubt you have a slot of it. Anyway it's silent when set to medium. Your BIOS may have speed controls for your fan, peruse around in there. Also give this program a shot:

It will only control the speed of your fans if your motherboard supports it. Basically if your CPU and motherboard is cool, it will tone down the fan unless its really hot then it will run the fan at full blast.





But the larger fan size the quieter, but sadly not everyone has room for it.
