Pc case fan?

i have only 1 case fan at the back and i want to know if it has to blow air into the computer or does it blow air out.


at the mo it is blowing out air from the back of the computer but it ant keeping every thing cool and it is on like 2500rpm


is it the rong way for is it rightPc case fan?
That is the power supply fan and yes, it is supposed to blow air out, keeping your PSU cool....Pc case fan?

Generally fans in the back of the case blow out and fans in the front blow in. This is to help with air flow inside the case where components are heating up. You can add more fans, use thermal paste on your CPU, get some heatsinks for your RAM and/or CPU, or some other options to help regulate the temperature in the computer case - there's even liquid cool systems now that work like a car's radiator, pumping cool liquid through pipes. The more you add to the case (hard drive, optical drives, expansion cards), generally the hotter your PC runs because it has more heat producing parts added and most likely additional cables that restrict air flow.
its the right way if its not keeping the CPU cool enough just buy more fans. also make sure your computer is in a well ventilate spot
well since you only have one case fan it generally blows out as an exhaust fan. you could be feeling the powersupply fan blowing out as well. it all depends on the computer to. if you are worried about cooling issues get another one and put it in the case most mother boards have additional plugs on the mobo for extra fans. it sound like your psu fan to me it's supposed to blow air out but it only keeps the psu cool you can fit another fan in to the case if you wish which will keep the computer cooler they're easy to fit and you can run the power lead to the hard drive or cd/dvd drive as a special lead is supplied the cost of a new fan is only about 拢7 to 拢10
Take a can of spray-air to all the intricates of the inside to get rid of the dust, including the fans themselves. Re-seal your processor with conductive gel. Oh and don't open the power supply unit for about a week, unless you're ok about working with hundreds of volts of instant electric discharge. You might also want to check your BIOS isn't set to auto-shut-down after a certain temperature. By the way, unless your pc is up-to-grade for playing games, they'res no point in over-loading it with a high-spec graphics card - you'll just melt it silly.
You need more fans. you have a good current fan setup but you need just as many fans sucking outside air in as you do out. In a 3 rail case, you should have a spot to put a fan by your hard drives. that should suck in. Thats your problem.
