Help or ideas with faulty pc case,?

Im building a pc but the case wont turn on and ive double checked and double checked the plugs are where they should be, is it possible i could use a multi meter to see if the case is faulty or is there another way i could do it, ive even tried a known working motherboard in the case and i still wont turn onHelp or ideas with faulty pc case,?
You could do a continuity test on the case switch, but wouldn't think it will be the on/off button if its a new case. You could bridge a wire over the +/- case headers pin on the main board to bypass the case switch. It will possibly be incorrect wiring. Is the PSU known working? To test disconnect the 20/24 atx supply from the computer, bridge a wire between the green wire and a negative (black wire) turn on see if the fan spins up inside the psu.Help or ideas with faulty pc case,?
not 100 percent sure but the same thing happened to me and for me it turned out to be that a fuse in the power box (the box thing were you plug the man power lead into) had blown up

all i did was replace he Power box for another one

there is no way i know of for testing if the fuse has blown up

hope this helps
try bridgeing the power pins on tMotherboardord( where tPowereSwitchich plugs in to tMotherboardord) with a smaelectricallyaconductiveith thing. and see if will work without the caSwitchhch
